Downtown “Roadside” Stands

Idea:

During events or other times, create stands on street corners like the vegetable or craft stands in the country where people use the “honor system” and can donate to a bin and take an item. Community members can watch to make sure someone doesn’t steal all the items for sale.

Benefit:

Locals could sell flowers, crafts, or try out some new idea without having to stand on the corner all day.

Downtown / JAM, OldIdea.

Clean City and Canals

Idea:

At regular intervals, members of our community get together and clean our city streets of trash and stuff. We make a site where people who want to help can get connected with these groups. Benefit:

A clean city will encourage people to take walks, jog, bike, and spend time exploring the city. It would also give them a sense of security, which inspires them to shop and contribute to the economic growth.
