Mixed Media Monthly Performance

Idea:

Music/art/dance collaborations at a library or outdoor space. This could be part open-mic, but have a core group that guarantees a performance every month.

Benefit:

Promote collaborations between different types of media, have a regular monthly performance, activate space, draw people to a new location.

Location:

Downtown / JAM, OldIdea.

Mural of ghost signs

Idea:

All over the city — especially downtown — our buildings have advertising signs (AKA ghost signs). These old signs are fading and suffer when the brick walls get much needed repointing. The mural of signs accentuates Lowell and helps our city to retain that unique character that comes from painted wall advertising.
