Recycle Your Butts

Idea:

To create recycling cans for cigarette buds because many of them are on the floor of public walkways and can eventually make way to the sea and polluting the environment overall. Benefit:

Public streets would be cleaner and it is one less thing the Lowell Critter Crew and other cleanup organizations have to worry about. The recycling cans can be donated to TerraCycle, an organization that recycled into new things!

Park Fitness Equipment Expansion

Idea:

To build more outdoor fitness exercise equipment at parks. There is some at Sheehy Memorial Park.

Benefit:

During the pandemic, it was difficult for many people to continue their fitness routines because many gyms closed.
