I just returned from Saint Louis where they have their own walk of fame. We should recognize all the Lowellians that went on to achieve fame. A quick list includes
Olivia Dukakis, Paul Tsongas, Mark Goddard (lost in space), Milton Selzer (hogans heroes) Betty Davis, Jack Kerouac, Michael Chicklus, Michael (?) Ansara, Mickey Ward. I’m sure there’s many others. If a permanent walk of fame is too expensive for a small project, stencils and paint could be used for a pop-up “walk of fame” to generate support for a future permanent project.
