Thank you for considering partnering with us! In 2025, sponsorships like yours helped us guide a group of community volunteers, many of whom had never worked on a community project before, to create Open Streets Lowell.
This event drew 1,000 people downtown for a one-day festival showing what downtown could look like without cars. The event was a success: local businesses reported a boost.
The team included Lowell newcomers, and they shared they were surprised that all it took was a shared vision and volunteer time to create a major festival in the center of downtown Lowell, with many planning to use the lessons they learned for community work this year.
Help us empower even more youth and adults to create impactful projects in 2026. Your continued support enables us to continue our mission of being an incubator and testing ground for creative ideas, a civic skill-building workshop for youth and adults, and a bridge between people of diverse backgrounds and identities. Our theory is that we can build civic skills through four pillars: Connect, Create, Grow, Celebrate. Below are just some aspects of our planned 2026 program:
Connect: A second year of Let’s Talk Lowell to bring Lowellians together to share their concerns, hopes, and ideas for community action.
Grow: The return of the Community Idea Summit, where facilitators teach Project Teams of youth and adults how to make their project ideas reality.
Create: Our upcoming Acre Art and History Activation project, that will allow community members to creatively show what they value about the Acre neighborhood to draw customers to Acre businesses.
Celebrate: Various volunteer and project recognition programs that reward, energize, and strengthen bonds between members of community teams.
We hope you’ll consider joining us to strengthen community when it’s needed most. To provide a sponsorship, please refer to the sponsor levels and instructions below.
