DIY Lowell is hosting a fundraiser and we want you to enter your favorite chili or spicy stew in our annual Contest! We encourage American chili and traditional ethnic stews from your culture - categories for restaurants, youth, and adults!

We provide grated cheese, oyster crackers, and welcome other add-ons that make your chili sing! We also provide 2 oz cups and spoons. You will need to bring a list of ingredients to display alongside your chili or stew and enough food for sixty 2-oz servings in a slow cooker or other means of keeping it warm.

The event is at Taffeta Music Hall (Western Avenue Studios) on Friday, March 21. Participants can begin setting up their stations at 5:30 pm and the contest will be from 6-8 pm. You can choose to stay for the event or drop off the chili/stew and pick it up at the end of the event. Attendees vote on the chili. The winner will get:
